The Ducklings Hatching Project
‘A project to remember’
The Ducklings Hatching Project was a memorising experience, not only for the children, but parents and staff who got fully involved. We were amazed that all 6 eggs hatched, considering the recommended hatching rate is 3!
With the first egg hatching at 6pm on Thursday, a few of us were lucky enough to witness this event, and it was a surprise to find 3 more hatched overnight and the last 2 hatched Friday morning. The ducklings enjoyed their swimming in the Gallery which Year 1, 2 and 3 got to watch and enjoy.
