Ducklings Arrival – 20th March 2017
Nursery Project with ‘Incredible Eggs’
We are extremely excited that this month is the start of Lanterns early Easter celebrations with the delivery of our ‘Ducklings Hatching’ project. Hopefully we will only have to wait a couple of days before the ducklings start to hatch as they will be delivered partly incubated. Fingers crossed this happens during the day for us all to watch!
We are pleased to welcome ‘Tanya Bell’ in Year 1 as a Nursery Practitioner.
If you wish for your child to celebrate their birthday, leaving day etc. with a celebration cake, you must provide a cake that is boxed with a full ingredients list printed on the box. We are unable to accept any home baked cakes or cakes without the ingredients list. Please speak to your child’s room manager regarding the time the cake will be served. If you wish to have a party at Lanterns please speak to Charlene at Reception or email the office.
Lanterns monthly newsletter has undergone a revamp and will be starting to include children’s birthdays and photos from events and projects. If you wish for your children not to be included in this please speak to Charlene at Reception. If you have any suggestions on what you would like to see featured in our monthly newsletters either speak to Charlene or use the suggestion post box located in Reception.
Valentines Afternoon Tea Success
Lanterns ‘Valentine’s Afternoon Tea’ charity event was a great success with Lanterns raising £115 for the ‘British Heart Foundation’. Thank you to all Parents/Carers for your support; whether that included attending the event or purchasing cupcakes, balloons & merchandise after.
Please do not allow your children to play on the stairs in the Reception area.
All prams must be folded down during the day when storing them at Lanterns. Also ensure any food that is kept in your prams is stored in Tupperware boxes.
Please do not let your children rip the displays!
